Narayanan received his Ph.D. from Cochin University of Science & Technology in 2010. His dissertation was on the studies of 1D magnetic nanowires/tubes and their hybrid structures with carbon nanotubes. During his Ph.D. he spent few months in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York, USA as Research Scientist. After  his Ph.D., he spent 3-year in Prof. Ajayan's laboratory at Rice University as a Post-Doctoral research associate. In 2013, he moved to CSIR-CECRI, Karaikudi, India as a Scientist Fellow. In 2014 October, he moved to Tata Institute of Fundamental Research-Centre for Interdisciplinary Sciences, Hyderabad as a Reader. [Full Resume]
